Sherry, the owner of the table I describe in a pervious post, said she could not find any appropriate chairs to go with her table. She asked if I could make some benches.

Since the table had a “fan” theme, I continued with the same. I did not want the points of the triangles to converge into a possible splinter-rich zone so I cut a quarter circle out of each bench. When the four benches are placed together it creates a whole circle.

The “ribbon” pattern wood is Sapele. The other woods are Honduran Mahogany and Iroko.
